"Fallout 4" has officially been announced with a new teaser trailer, showing the first glimpse of a game that will come exclusively to PC and current-generation consoles.

Bethesda Game Studios announced the new entry in the long-running RPG series after teasing an announcement on the franchise's official website. No official release date has been given for the game, which will be released for PC as well as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game isn't planned for release on the Wii U or previous-generation consoles. Bethesda says it will reveal more about the game during its E3 press conference at 7 p.m. Pacific Time on Sunday, June 14.

Notably, the graphics engine appears reminiscent of recent id games such as "Rage" and "Wolfenstein: The New Order." Using an id engine would make sense, as the developer was acquired by ZeniMax Media, parent company of the studio behind "Fallout 4," in 2009.
