Microsoft to release Xbox One without Kinext

Microsoft have announced that are to release a version of the Xbox One without the Kinect sensor included and will cost $399. The console is to be relased on June 9 this year.

The decision was announced by Phil Spencer stating the move was designed to fans more choice. He does maintain the sensor remains in important part of Microsoft's vision for the console.

The Kinect free version of the console places it at the same price as Sony's Playstation 4 console. Microsoft have previously stated that they would not release the Xbox One without the Kinext sensor bundled with the system.
