Relive the ZX Spectrum all over again with the 1,000-game packed Vega later this month

May 4, 2013
After 23 years after it first debuted, a new ZX Spectrum is back - and you can play all your old favourites.

The Sinclair ZX Spectrum Vega is an officially-licensed product, produced by former developer Chris Smith and supported by Sir Clive Sinclair, and comes packed with a library of over 1,000 games old and new.

The huge catalogue is a mixture of classics like Knight's Lore and Back to Skool as well as newly-written titles.

If any of your favourites are missing, you can load almost any game onto an SD card, and even play those you've programmed yourself.

While it doesn't include a classic tape deck, the new system goes one better with no lengthy loading times and the ability to save and load your progress.

Developed by Retro Computers, production for the Vega was crowdfunded earlier this year, raising over £155,000.

The Sinclair ZX Spectrum Vega is available for £99.99 from August 24.
